Named after the god of requited love (and avenger of unrequited love), London trio Anteros make decidedly sunnier music than their philosophical moniker suggests. Having just inked a deal with highly-regarded Parlophone imprint, Regal, the synthpop outfit are airing 'Fade To Grey', the tempered 80s b-side to their eponymous debut single. A feat as it may seem, to sign with a major off the back of just one track, 'Fade To Grey''s swoonsome harmonies, clean guitar riffs and infectious bass pops suggests they're a pretty safe bet for success in the coming months. - DC
