Angel has dropped ‘Wish I Never’, a passionate piece of soulful, modern R&B. The subtle trap inspiration on the percussion creates a frantic shuffling in the quiet hi-hats, while the powerful bassline underneath introduces some funky, syncopated rhythms. Of course, the focus here is on Angel’s voice. It’s delicate, yet soulful and smooth.  The subtle edits provide an interesting creative sound, especially when combined with the backing vocals.
