Multidisciplinary artist Alewya teams up with drummer and composer Moses Boyd on a haunting new track 'The Code (Live Session)'. Alewya's 4th single to date reveals a unique emerging talent who blends a plethora of genres. Guitar plucks open the song, with distorted electric guitar lines echoing desert melodies. It all kicks off when Moses' drums come in; a fuzzy and uncompromising sound. Alewya's rap and catchy R&B vocals are strong and assured, embellished with lush harmony. Boyd says of the collaboration, "My favourite moments in the studio are those when the flow is seamless and doesn't need to be explained. We made 'The Code' within minutes of jamming together and it was just that, seamless. I knew we would have great musical chemistry and it's been refreshing to work with someone as open, brave and inquisitive as Alewya.
