Aaron Fletcher and Tim Parkin had a good run as part of the Ventnor-based indie psych-rockers The Bees, known for their experimental approach to songwriting and tendency to think outside the box. The Isle of Wight musicians' exciting new project 77:78 has just found its perfect home with psychedelic connoisseurs Heavenly Recordings and their first offering 'Love Said (Let's Go)' is a retro slice of groovy feel-good pop that'll draw you in and keep you swaying 'til the end. The band explain, “The song’s working title was Jelly because it has this soulful balearic groove that just wobbles! Lyrically the vibe is saying “keep on keeping on”… take life's punches but shine on". Keeping with the jelly theme, 77:78's aptly-named debut album Jellies will arrive on the 5th of July.
