JACKLNDN & LEX LOW GOOD TIME

Following up on the collaboration between Flores and Maths Time Joy on ‘Undercover’, we have another producer-meets-vocalist project from jackLNDN and Lex Low. Very much suiting the title ‘Good Time’, the simple opening lets you know instantly that this is a track for falling into the vibes, leaning back and enjoying some futuristic R&B flow. Lex Low’s soft vocals interlace with the jazzy electronic keys, slyly ticking percussion and wavy synths. Speaking directly to TMR, Lex Low fills us in on this co-worked tune: “Good Time is about dropping all the pretense. It's about running into someone you drifted from and just having a moment unencumbered by whatever happened in the past. That person could be a friend, an ex, it could even be directed at yourself; getting to a healthier place by allowing each other to move on, relax a bit and reconnect.” It’s a break-up and make-up song all rolled into one, and we can’t deny that the pair are incredibly persuasive with their chilled electronics and R&B-infactuated vocals. Click play and relax to ‘Good Time’; trust us, you won’t need much convincing. - HT
