All eyes are on Bristol post-punks IDLES, who are just about to drop their hotly anticipated album, Brutalism. To celebrate, they have just released a video for new single ‘Mother’, which was shot in a gallery owned by the CGP Group - an artist-led gallery who are renowned for their supporting of new, forward thinking art. The result of their collaboration with IDLES sees frontman Joe Talbot throwing around china objects in front of a picture of his mother. The result? Smashing – in every sense. It’s also bizarrely cathartic, and leaves you with little doubt that IDLES’ live show would be any less energetic, raucous or fun.
