Manchester grunge quartet Hover Bored have turned things up a notch. Their new single ‘Safe Side’ is anything but safe, with scuzzy, grungy guitars and screeching melodies playing havoc with your ears for its barely-two-minute existence. Speaking about the track’s origin, the band explain that the track “began as a throwaway idea until we made it the ending of another song. We fell in love with the energy that this small interlude brought to rehearsals and shows; so we decided to make it a full track.” The band have toured extensively over the North West and this single was recorded at Catalyst studios in Manchester.
