Get a pen and paper, you need to take note of HAUS as the next indie-rock breakthrough. Following a string of impressive independent releases, like ‘Blinded’ and ‘Two Minds’, the London outfit have been signed to Atlas Artists. Their marking this new chapter of a blossoming career with ‘Gave You All’, a ricochet of open-close percussion, bassy synth quivers and Ashley Mulimba’s determined vocal performance. Easy comparisons to Foals and Everything Everything spring to mind, particularly with regards to the instrumentation, but as a sonic army standing behind Mulimba’s youthful flair, ‘Gave You All’ is set apart. The potential of this band as a live gig to remember is seen in the music video, where the five members of HAUS perform with utmost energy, sinking in and out the shadows.
