Hailing from the other side of the pond, LA-via-NYC to be precise, Doe Paoro has caught the eyes and ears of some seriously influential people. After reaching out to them on spec, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and Sean Cary ended up contributing to her sophomore album After, and her new LP features collaborative work with Leo Abrahams (famed for his work with Brian Eno) and Jimmy Hogarth (James Blunt, Amy Winehouse). As you might expect, therefore, her new single ‘Second Door’ is pretty awesome, combining her airy vocal with an atmospheric and textured backdrop.
