COURTSHIP. LOVE FOR EVERYONE

Los Angeles indie-pop duo courtship. have made it their mission to spread a message of inclusivity with new party themed anthem ‘Love For Everyone’. As the perfect pairing of Eli Hirsch and Micah Gordon put it, "Not trying to sound preachy, but we were just thinking about how no matter who you are, everyone has felt self conscious or anxious at a party. Like they don't know how to be themselves. So we wrote a song about an imaginary party where no one is left out and everyone feels super free to be and do whatever they want.” The short version of this message can be found in the catchy lyric “let go, love for everyone!” It’s an easy-going idea of acceptance that comes with non-stop disco percussion, preppy synths and an enticing falsetto, which is already familiar territory from their whirlwind debut ‘Stop For Nothing’. Although relative newcomers (this is only their second track release after all), the West Coast duo seem determined to create a roomy space in the emerging pop scene, one where they and all their friends can carelessly dance on into the night. - HT
