Alex The Astronaut is Sydney’s latest and greatest folk-indie artist. Her music is young, honest and feels like it’s straight of the Juno soundtrack for all the right reasons. Fresh of the back of her successful debut To Whom It May Concern, Alex has just announced a new EP titled See You Soon and has just released first single ‘Not Worth Hiding’. The track tackles issues of identity and sexuality head on with a charm and honesty that betrays some deeply personal revelations. The track was premiered on triple j’s Good Nights with Linda Marigliano show, and the full EP will be released on October 6^th via her own label Minkowski Records. ‘Not Worth Hiding’ is dedicated to “16-year-old Alex and for anyone who’s struggling to let you know that you’re absolutely perfect just the way you are.” ­-HM
